Terms of Sale
Last updated: September 15, 2026
1. Scope
These terms govern the distance sale of the online course “Video Analyst Course” offered under the Keen Eye Academy brand. Placing an order implies full acceptance of these terms, which the buyer confirms having read before paying.
2. Seller
The course is sold by two sole proprietors, each in its own territory. The seller is determined by the billing country — and, in the United States, by the state — you declare when ordering; that seller is the sole party to the contract and appears on your receipt and invoice.
Central, mountain and Pacific states — Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Washington, Wisconsin, Wyoming — and any other United States address, territories included:
Lucas Massello-Heuzé, sole proprietor (French micro-entreprise) — United States — all other states and territories.

3. Description of the course
An online learning path accessed from a personal, password-protected account, comprising six modules (33 written, illustrated lessons), eight practical assignments applied to a match of your choosing, six self-assessment quizzes, an initial placement test, personalised review of each submitted assignment by a trainer with the module's rubric, and a discussion space between learners and trainers.
The course is not accredited and leads to no state diploma. No technical prerequisite is required beyond a computer or smartphone with an internet connection.
4. Price
The price is a one-time payment displayed in the currency of your billing country: US$449 (United States) or €350 (rest of the world). Prices are net of VAT, which does not apply to the seller. Any sales tax, GST/HST or similar tax that applicable law requires to be collected is shown before payment. Access is individual and nominative, and remains open for as long as the platform is operated, updates included; the seller will give at least six months' notice by e-mail before any closure.
5. Order and payment
Ordering requires creating an account. Payment is made online by card through Stripe; card details never pass through or are stored by the seller. The order becomes firm once payment is confirmed. A receipt is e-mailed; an invoice is provided on request to the seller's contact address.
6. Delivery
Access opens immediately after payment is confirmed. Progress is staged: the placement test opens the path, and each submitted assignment must be reviewed by a trainer before the following steps open.
7. Refunds and right of withdrawal
Because access to the digital content opens immediately at your express request, no refund is due once access has been opened, except where mandatory law of your country of residence provides otherwise.
Consumers residing in the European Union have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal (art. L221-18 of the French Consumer Code). By ticking the box before paying, they expressly request immediate access and acknowledge losing that right once access opens (art. L221-28 13°). Without that tick, access opens only after the 14-day period, during which they may withdraw by writing to the seller and be refunded within 14 days by the same payment method.
8. Account and personal use
Access is strictly personal. Sharing credentials, making the content available to third parties, copying or reselling it is prohibited and constitutes infringement. After a formal notice left unanswered for eight days, the seller may suspend access without refund. The discussion space requires courteous conduct; the trainers may remove any abusive, discriminatory or off-topic message.
9. Availability
The seller uses reasonable means to keep the service available but does not guarantee uninterrupted access; interruptions may occur for maintenance or due to technical providers. In the event of prolonged unavailability attributable to the seller, the buyer may request a proportionate compensation.
10. Liability
The course teaches a method of video analysis. It guarantees no sporting result, employment or recruitment. Decisions taken on the basis of the course are the learner's sole responsibility. The learner remains responsible for the footage they film and submit, including image rights of the people filmed and any authorisation required from clubs and organisers.
11. Personal data
See the privacy policy, accessible from every page.
12. Complaints and dispute resolution
Complaints are to be sent to the seller's contact e-mail; the seller answers within fifteen days. If the written complaint does not resolve the dispute, consumers may refer it, free of charge, to a consumer mediator. The mediator designated by the seller is given on request, at the seller's contact address. Consumers residing outside France also keep the remedies available under the law of their place of residence.
13. Applicable law
These terms are governed by French law. Nothing in them deprives a consumer of the mandatory protections of the law of their country of habitual residence. Courts of France have jurisdiction, without prejudice to a consumer's right to bring proceedings before the courts of their place of residence.
